There are some pretty bizarre things you can do with rocks and Japanese artist Hirotoshi Ito has done just that. His stone sculptures bend the mind in ways like we've never seen. These rocks are unorthodox yet humorous in a way. “Although I work with various kinds of stones,” explains the artist, “most of my work consists of optimizing a stone’s original shape.” Ito's modifications to the rocks alter their raw surface as we know them traditionally.
