The award-winning professional artist and sand sculptor, Carl Jara aka “Grain Damaged” hails from Cleveland, Ohio and has created some of the most elaborate sand sculptures ever seen. Jara originally went to school for illustration and graphic design but realized his true passion lied in creating magnificent sculptures out of sand. Jara went on to win over 9 world championships for sand sculpting as he pursued his passion.
