Salavat Fidai is the Russian artist behind these remarkably tiny sculptures developed at the end of a wooden pencil. These carpenter/art pencils contain very thick leads which allows Fidai to use an X-ACTO knife to carve the tiny, highly detailed sculptures. His sculptures range from pop-culture figures to buildings, people, hands, instruments, cartoon characters and more. The amount of pressure Fidai applies must be extremely delicate in order to refrain from damaging the lead. The process would be amazing to watch.
